1982 enticer 340

I'm in need of some info I need some torque numbers for the engine plate to block and the torque for where the plate bolts to the snowmobile. Guess they would be the motor mount torque specs

Thanks let me know when you find other torque specs

i have to hook up heated shield , no battery on sled, can i run it in with the hand and thumb warmers they are hott grips model num 101 and use a 4 or 5 amp fuse will 4 or 5 amps b enough

should be ok. usually when hot grips where added to those sleds, they where added on the tail lamp circuit. might want to consider a led bulb back there to make it easyer on the stator.

Just got a led tail lamp and a led 80w headlight
With the power I will save
I should be able to run hand warmers and the heated shield and two little side marker lights on the headlight????
Any thoughts??

on the tail light, then yes.

So when I purchased the sled it had the hand warmers and the little side marker lights already wired to the headlight and it worked ok
i would b adding in the heated shield

don't the headlight and taillight work off the same charging system
i don't know much bout elec system just wanted to understand why I need to put on taillight
thanks

i would rather my tail light be dimmer than the headlamp.

you are correct, sry still thinking in bike terms where both are on a separate circuit from each other.

Finished install on heated grips, thumb warmer and heated shield
Hav power in and out of grips but only in one side of thumb warmer
Thumb warmer is bad maybe?

Don't know
I don't hav ohm meter
Will have to get one
What should it read

And I hav a 5 amp fuse in it
That is what hot grips online instructions say to use

If it is not plugged into ground, yes you should have power out the opposite lead. Cheating way to check the ground with a test light.

I used a test light
I hav light on one side of thumb warmer and not the other
Power in not out

So the instructions say to wire power in hand warmer out hand warmer into next hand warmer and out next hand warmer
Into thumb warmer out thumb warmer into heated shield out heated shield then to ground
Is this correct?

never installed a kit myself but instructons usually do not lie. have you tried it with a heated sheild plugged in?
