was cold out today.Spent a couple hours snowblowing driveway and decided to take the old 600 out.It is around -38 windchill today. The SXR has sat for a week in the unheated shed..and today was going to test how long it would take to start it.To my SURPRISE ..not even a full one pull and it fired up and was running. That that really amazed me..the SRX would never start like that..maybe 6 to 10 on this cold day.Man there is a lot of drifts everywhere and spots filled in deep.Nearly got stuck 3 times today.Passed a couple doo's and one was stuck good..I laughed and carried on since he had his bud helping out.I feel super tired riding today from all the rough drifts and soft snow, you really have to hang on to the bars today..the 600 never disappoints me,wish I had a new track on it already since the ripsaw on it is crap..1.5 track may be my next choice, seems I am digging myself down to much when I hit the deeper snow and nearly get stuck. All in all this is way better then last season by far snow wise.

Good to hear that your having snow to ride! I recently replaced a ripsaw with a cobra and I really like it. Its still good on trail, but is a major improvement in loose snow.

Nice! Glad you out today Blue. How much snow did you get? It's always a "good" tired after a day of fun on the sled. 37*F here, light drizzle and very foggy.

With the blowing winds it was hard to give us an exact amount..but a little over 4 " they say.Was expecting more, but will take it.It is gonna be friggin cold all thru next week,-30 to -35 C at night. But with the windchill today, didn't feel a thing.Got to love my BVs helmet,no fogging at all anytime..best equipment I ever bought. My grips get real hot,had to turn them down today to half way.Just with high winds you get a lot of drifting everywhere and a lot of places are rough. You are bouncing up and down alot. Went to the River and for the most part it is smooth..At least we have the snow to ride this season.
