Hello again fellas,
So, no snow has left me standing in the garage the last few weeks working and looking at the sled. I have a few question about the seat. My old mountain max seatn went right down to the vertical part of the tunnel, this resulted in better standing position and more comfy sitting. Also allowing you to stand in the boards, not on top of the of the rail. The rails and tunnel flex when standing so far out. I am curious if anybody has ever cut the plastic down the tunnel line and pulled the cover back? If ya flip your seat over you can clearly tell where it needs to be cut. I just really do hate standing like that and my legs rubbing on the seat there is redic. I want to get rid of the part that comes down the tunnel, shave all that extra foam and staple the cover back on. Think I need to apply the adhesive to the foam to keep cover in place or is it a free moving cover type. Got the jigsaw and staple gun. Serrated edge knife as well. I'll get pics as I go. Anybody done this?

I am not going to buy after market or spend any serious money, just want what I think will be an improved seat for me. Buddie has srx and agrees the mountain max seat was better.
