I've been trying everything to remove the two 4" wheels from the centre axle in the skid. I've hit it with a hammer I've rented a gear puller to try and rip it off to no avail. I anyone has a trick or tip it would be greatly appreciated.

Loosen off the bolts that help hold the rails tight together starting at the rear axle to give some play.
Or do you mean the top axle.

The two wheels in question are pressed onto the shaft. Remove the circlip and press the bearing / wheel off. Install in reverse order. Al

As mentioned, remove the two tiny clips. They are not the bearing clips, but small clips in grooves on the axle shaft itself. Remove and use your puller.
I've tried that method with no success. Any other ideas like adding heat to the equation or some other tool? Thanks,

done this numerous times.Remove c-clip from behind. Now you can tap the wheel off. Then the bearing is now exposed. Now take the puller to the bearing, protect the shaft end from damage from the center point of puller..put an old bolt in there. Now the puller will take off the bearing. If this is the smaller idler wheels, there is another c-clip to remove on the shaft. Then tap the shaft thru and pull out of the other end.Remove the other wheel same way.If this is the larger upper idlers..same thing with wheel and bearing,no c-clip on shaft..just push it thru and out as well.Do your work and put back in.
