alright, so my hand warmers feel slightly cold. how can i check if they are good?
in terms, what voltage should i be looking for and where?
please help asap i need answers quick!

Check for voltage on the yellow/red (+) and black(-) wires. With voltmeter connected to each wire the voltage should climb to 13v or so as the engine nears 6-7k rpm.(almost zero at idle)
Also ohm out the hand warmers themselves. Not sure of the spec on those but they should have the same ohms.

so, will they get warm if im letting the machine idle in the garage? because they seem cold. but if i let my oo sxr idle in the garage the get hot fast. so im confused
Do your handwarmer wires go from the rheostat to the CDI? If so, then the motor must rev above 4000rpm before the CDI allows power to them.

Ill look at the sled latter tonight.
Obvious question..... did you cut them to out bar ends on the sled?? if so just solder the two wires to close the loop. if not......do what the guy two posts before this one said!! lol
