My friend put a hole in the block of his 2005 viper 700 triple. Can this engine be interchaned with a 700 vmax? He found a used one just not sure if they are the same. Thanks

not the same engine at all. Will not interchange. Vmax motor is non powervalved/different stator/different exhaust etc etc

X2, might be easier than putting a small block chevy in there but plug and play its not.
