What is the main difference in these sleds. lets say between same year 340 exciter and 340 enticer. Are the motors the same?

They share almost nothing. Chassis, engine, drive, skid track, etc,etc,
Completely different sleds including the engine.

So obviously the exciter was the racier version. The reason I ask was i was looking at 340 Enticer motor to have a back up race motor for my exciter but didn't know if they would fit.

The EX 340 has more potential to make HP and has more in common with a 340 GPX engine than anything. EX 440 cranks are the same as an EX 340 crank but the cases, cylinders and heads are different.
Some guys that race EX's use GPX go-fast tricks with them.

Thanks for the info opsled. I have a mildly built ex340 motor in now, just was curious on the enticer stuff....Thanks so much
