Much thanks to Maim and low slung for answering my PM's and helping get my ET410 straightened out. She goes like hell now! Going for a 50 mile tour tomorrow, I'll get some pics in the deep stuff. No more gettin stuck on the big hills!
New carbides! Look at how worn down the original bars are!!!
Track install including chaincase removal, which turned out to be not required at all haha. Fawk.
Skid out
Chaincase guts out, 'journal' (cup that holds driveshaft) still stuck in
We have progress!!
Chaincase guts

Just bars left!

Nice job.Your skidrails are in better shape then the ones on mine(had to add plates because the middle shaft wore the holes too big in the rails, cheaper to add metal). Also add new shocks/struts all around a few seasons back(struts are kimpex, very good). The seat also needed a new wood panel install underneath(water rotted the old one, then the stappes came out). Also noticed you have your lowest rear skid mounting hole used(this is the result of the ET410 sharing the same frame as the phazerII ST).While mine don,t have the skid position in the lowest hole i heard it turns them into a real performer in powder. My dealer has a good deal on yamaha new tuner plastic ski($79.99ski)and said a local install them on an ovation(TSS sled).Would be nice to replace the front steel skis but i have a set of OEM yamaha wide ski skins for this sled installed(7.5inches wide/6.5 inches for the dual runner plastic yamaha skis).I should of told you earlier when you had the skid out to install grease nipples in all the pivot points(gives an improvement in ride quality)Heres a pic of what this sled does best...

New shocks are coming eventually. Had her out last week in the deep stuff and man what a monster difference. Camera crapped out so no good pics but man, what an off trail beast this thing is now. No worries if you dump it in the powder, she walks right out. Turning performance and climbing power, Imean it's like riding a different machine. I'm going to keep hunting a pair of VK plastic skis because that is the only flaw I'm still noticing, the front end dives like a submarine. The bracket was installed on the bottom hole when I bought it and it's definitely way better in the powder than most people give it credit for at first sight.
I would have been going out on a ~250km caribou hunt this weekend but when I went to load it on the trailer I came in too hot and dislocated my shoulder when I bounced off my buddy's phazer (no damage to anything), so that put an end to our hunting plans. Frick! Too busy with work for a few weeks now but we'll be taking her up past treeline in a while for some char fishing, I'll try and get some video. Nice pic, she's definitely a great hauler.

Got tired of strapping stuff to the back rack or having to throw all my tools/emerg backcountry gear in an actionpacker that was taking up too much room in my boggan so I yanked the backrest off and put this box together. It looks a little goofy because it's so tall but I had to build it 27" high to fit my short barrel .410. Nice to have that along on bush trips so you don't have to carry a full size shotgun.I've just got it strapped down for now but I'll be putting self tapping metal screws into the bottom of the rack soon. That should hold it I think. Going to duct tape the seat to get through this season but I've got new vinyl on order for next winter.
