Differance between stiff original shocks and soft upated ones.

Can you visually tell the difference between the 02 stock stiff shocks and the updated softer shocks???? Are they both KYBs with silver springs???

You can not tell by looking at them but you can sure tell when riding them.

The difference is valving in the shock. Not real expensive to have pioneer or someplace similar do their revalving, makes a big difference. And about the only option for vipers unless your lucky enough to find ohlins, or making mounts to use other shocks
