SRX carbs

I pulled the carbs on a 1999 SRX that I picked up cheap and found that one of the carbs had a cracked body and the float bowl was secured with silicone. I can pick up a good set from a 700 vmax for $50 and am wondering if these will work. Will I have to change the jets? Is there anything else I should be aware of?
 

Both are mikuni 33mm, carb bodys should be identical. Safe bet that all internals will need to be swapped out. Not sure if the newer vmax's have a TPS or not. What year are the vmax carbs?
 
The ad says will fit 1997 - 2001. Don't think it has tps. As long as they will fit is ok with me. I don't mind digging in and swapping parts between them. Can I get away with just swapping the jets? As a note the carbs that came off mine did not have tps and the tors was disconnected.

Also the carbs are not liquid heated. Does this really matter? I'm thinking I can bypass that as well. I'm on a bit of a budget and if I can make the vmax carbs with just swapping some internals I'd like to go hat route.
 
I've got a good set from a 99 srx sitting on the shelf. Sipping can be a pain to Canada, but if you want them let me know what you want to pay and maybe we can work something out.
 
I got a set from my 98 sitting in a totebox all cleaned just need your jets put in them.They are identical to the 99 carbs and the TORS switch is cleaned so it works.I converted my 98 over to 2000 electronics and carbs with TPS so these are just sitting,let me know if you want them I'm sure it wouldn't cost all that much to mail from NB to you.
 
Weren't all 700 carbs heated, red head and SRX. Or did you mean they have been plugged off on the set your looking at?
 
The guy selling them said they were not heated but he didn't get into the specifics. I tore down my carb as much as I could last night and it seems that the parts where the coolant flows through is where the carbs fit to the air box and they came off fairly easily. I don't know if all the carbs had these or not or if they are interchangeable. Anyway I got a lead on another set around here today so ill check these out as I'd like to have it going this weekend. If these are not in good shape ill contact you guys to work out a price. Thanks guys.
