i found this track on kjiji and the address was near by. $500.00
is 500 a deal or is it over priced.

it will 110% fit without the front and tunnel protectors in the sled with the stock 9 tooth drivers....however, they do like to pack the tunnel full and tight sometimes with wet/heavy snow if the track speed is not kept up. My suggestion is to get it if its cheap and take a brand new razor knife and simply trim the lugs down to 1.5" tall. They work very well in snow then and still get incredible traction. You will notice a decrease in topspeed due to the lug height basicly acts like a fan under there, but if your not worried about going 100mph then they work fantastic at about 1.5" lug.

I ran these at 1.75" lug and like I said, it was no problem for me,but letting another person ride it and they didnt keep the track speed up lead to us having to tip the sled over a couple times to unpack the front of the tunnel by the drivers, would pack it up with wet/heavy snow cause it cant escape the tunnel, lugs too close to the exchanger/tunnel. trimmed the track back to 1.5 lug and no more problems.

8 tooth drivers suck :die: , they make the track harder to turn and screw up gearing, I dont use them unless last resort in a big lug track/stud set up. for someone who "HAS to have studs" on a 1.25 and bigger lug track.

no, you dont have to go extrovert but you will find the definition of making the sled slow after going to 8 tooth drivers.

If your that stuck on going with a 1.75" lug, then remove all the protectors and it WILL fit with 9 tooth drivers i guarantee it. Its just close. 1.5 is a very good all around lug size and you get somewhat decent topend yet, again stick with the 9 tooth drivers.

Also remember, going to 8 tooth drivers your gears will need to be changed along with the speedo drive also or none of it will be correct. Its a step backwards for sure, but its your sled.

My speedos been broke for years, I planned on dropping 2 teeth anyways, This sled will not be /rarely ridden on trails, protectors have been removed and skids been dropped. I ask because even now I get some ratcheting with my 1 3/8" lug track.
