hi guys could anyone tell me what a 1970 ss 396 would be worth in near mint condition.sled is nice no dents perfect seat ect.my uncle bought new and he wants rid of it and said he would make me a smokin deal .i no they are collectible yamahas first high performance race sled but thats about it. thanks :winterrul
 

Mint original? Like it just came out of the box nice? - 2000.00+
Very nice, but not mint 1500.00 to 1800.00.
I've got a mint restored 71 SS433 or I might be interested in it. Neat sled-don't let some kid have it-lol

picked sled up and found it was a gp 396 not a ss but it is in really nice shape and a smokin deal it set for 30 yrs.

Great little sled, rode thousands of miles on those chassis. Wish I had that WC decal! Nice.

Exact same horsepower as the 72 GP 292 at 28hp. A set of GYT pipes would wake her up.

im going to go over it and clean it up .neat sled will make a great resto im thinkin about restoring it.and yes i might be interested in selling if the price is right .about that decal on the hood any info on that i no its a vintage sticker from eagle river.
 
thanks yammiegod .spartansxr are you talking about a ss or a gp mine ended up being a gp i dont think it will bring as much as ss .

It has been listed a couple of times. With no takers. The last listed price was $2900 starting price. A little to much by my book.
