Any one used 8ca in there mm or long tracked sx. I looking for a base line to start tuneing from.

honestly, that would not be a good mountain weight its too aggressive on the upshift, will likely lead to trenching, something more like a 8dg weight or 8dn10 would be alot better.

Dn-10's make a good mtn weight in a red head sled. Cr's are not too bad either.
I have a set of 8cr so I'll just go with them then. Prob have to load them up to work with a 45/41?

how much weight you add to a clutch weight is dictated by the primary spring used, a stronger spring will require more weight to be added to run a certain rpm, a softer spring will require less weight to be added.
I guess i misunderstood your post here Don #6 Thats why I wondered about the 8cas for mtn use.

ya, you ,missed the word "wouldnt" be the weights i would want for deep snow......lol, no biggie, always best to ask first!
