91 phazer II decals

A couple of months ago I bought a 91 phazer II that hasn't run in a few years and is in pretty bad shape. The hood and all the panels need to be fixed and repainted. I was wondering where I can get original decals for it since I plan to restore it to original?

If they are no longer available from yamaha you could have a graphics/sign shop make you up a set using your existing decals as a pattern. I had a shop make a set of decals for my 78 kawi invader and gave me a break on price because he wanted the pattern to offer on his web site. You could also work with them to do a custom set. Or universal ''flame decals'' from Fleet Farm work in a pinch too lol. Hope this helps.

Timebomb what color ? I may have some for the first Phazer II ( 1990)

just in case you are interested I have a full set of Phazer body panels--- my post in the for sale should still be out there......

vmax 540, its the 91 with the white hood and red panels, decals are alot different

Tod, may be interested in your body panels. what color are they? do you have a hood too?

i am actually thinking of having it painted to match my 05 rx1 which is candy red. so in that case, i may just have custom phazer decals made for it since originals wouldn't match. i just can't figure out what should be candy red and what should be black since my rx1 is candy red and black.
 
tod, i just looked at your panels, that would work but i am in northern ny. i bet they would be hard to ship. there is a sled salvage place here in ny that probably has what i would need anyway, but thanks anyway
 
does anyone have any ideas on my color scheme? looking at the pics vmax540 posted it is hard to figure out what to paint candy red and what to paint black. the tunnel is also painted. then i would have to figure the decals out to match. i am a long way from these steps, i don't even have the sled running yet!
 
the pics post are of a 1990 phazer i have a 91 also and love the color scheme......i did pic up a bunch of the decals for mine at a swap meet this fall ..........but i would have to wait and see if i sell them my sled is just about mint except for a few small cracks on the back corner of the hood
