I think if I buy another toy, my wife will divorce me! hahaha! yet were going to the dealer Saturday so we can get her a nice Yamaha snowmobile jacket. She needs a new winter coat, and I brought up the idea...why not get a nice and warm Yamaha snowmobile jacket. i think once i buy her more gear and then finally a sled, she will have second thoughts. what do your wives or girlfriends say about the new toys you bring home, or do they say anything at all?

I was told that I am married to my riding partner more so than her.. I keep some toys stored in different places so she never knows what I have or not.. Works great for me and she has nothing to complain about...lol.. They are never happy with anything men do..

Mine has been working 14 hour days all week, covering a co-worker.
She was none to happy with me rolling in a 2am last night and my dog howling for me for a couple hours.
3am sleep rolled up on us and she was even meaner at 5:30 when the alarm went off.
Made me get my azz out of bed to make coffee and warm her car up.
Whats up with that?? No sense of haha.
I laugh now, but I'll suffer for days. lol

buy YOURSELF a new coat and sled. give her some money, they like that. unless you wanna hear, "don't go so fast, that's to expensive, i'm cold, how much gas?, and i don't wanna go today." that's why we all have fast sleds, to get AWAY from them!! i love my wife, but not to go ridin' with. haha

x2 ^^ I love my wife, but I don't want to spend every minute with her. Sledding is my thing that I get out of the house a few times a year with some buddies to unwind. She would have a fit if she knew how much money I spend on some of those weekends.

I don't ask I just buy. Its easier to get forgiveness then permission. Lol
X2 but my girlfriend is about as big into riding as me so there is usually no forgivness needed as long as i can pay my portion of the bills

my wife doesn't care about what I buy.I could buy a brand new sled tomorrow and she would just say ""that's nice".She does her thing and I do mine. She hates winter, hates the cold, she would never and has never ridden a sled yet .She tells me to stop complaining when there is no snow because I complain to much about it..otherwise she doesn't care. She hates it when I talk about my sleds and what I have done to them..lol..SO I buy what I want when I want..but for now I have 2 sleds and that is enough.Probably run these 2 into the ground and will be done with sledding in a few more years anyways.Wasted enough $$$ in this sport already, time to save for some more important things..like my retirement... #$%&*

Does she have a relatively new car??? Buy her one of those remote starts... no more cold feet warming up the car... I know it doesn't help much if you get snow( that still needs to get brushed).

She has a Chrysler 300 but I disabled the remote start. She has a bad habit of leaving the wipers on. :o|
Every morning theyre froze to the windshield.
My wife hates sleds too. My fault though. Years ago, me and the boys were out 6 nights a week all winter and drank every time.
Lawless times around here back then as far as sledding went. The rare time you came up on a "RIDE" you just waved and took off. They rode 377 Safari's. lol
Now days you have to read the local postings to see where the "RIDE" is going to be and what time. They also have young, fearless, sledhead cops on fast sleds.
Just not worth having a few drinks anymore. People always say that your so active on the sled that a few drinks never effects you. Maybe not, but if you have to blow, your potential to earn an income might stop right there.
Then you can bet your azz your wife will have plenty to say about toys. lol

Mine is easing her way into riding. She just can't figure out why I'm still spending money on them even though I haven't been able to ride them in 2 years.... Thanks crappy weather.
