Venture 600 Needle adjustment
I need to raise the carb needles one notch to cure my slightly lean condition. I cant figure out how to get the slides out to do this. Anyone know?

I figured it out. You don't have to remove the slides. You have to remove the connector at the top of the slides. The center one is a pain!

Smart Carbs?? I have them and no clue how to do anything with them. I pulled the hole assembly out early last year and cleaned them from both sides and the float bowl area but never touched anything else. No idea how to put them back together if I disconnected any of the multitude of arms, linkages etc.
They're working and I did not want to look for trouble. I actually just started it up after some effort. Since it never rode last year, nor this year yet due to no snow. Maybe 3" on the dirt road here and I took it up and looped back hitting stones, roots etc but loosened up some stuff. I think they're still ok once it ran for a while and moved. LOL moving is a good step in the right direction after starting and backing out.
