Phaser Reeds

I have a 97 Phazer SS and would like to add a little zip to the engine. I have heard that changing the reeds to aftermarket is one way. If I put V force or a set of Boyesen reeds in do I have to change jets?

Mild port job on the motor and an AAen pipe will put some pep in it's step too-got mine done at CBPerformance-roller secondary clutch would be good too
