Going to be changing the oil pump on my daughter's Ovation. Question, once it's swapped out and I'm ready to start the engine, is there a procedure for bleeding the air out of the oil lines, etc? Never done one before and don't want to damage anything on startup. Thanks.

I just learned on my phazer that there's a phillips head screw on the mag side of the oil pump that you have to back out all the way and make sure there's no air in the oil lines. I'd premix the first tank of gas to be sure the oil level is going down in the tank is going down too.
I had to notch out my motor mount with a die grinder to have enough room to get the screw out far enough. If your engine is out it might not be so hard to get to.
