I did a lot of changes to my sled this year and I am still trying to get things dialed in. I was able to go for a 55 mile ride last night and it gave me a chance to try my clutch set up in real world conditions and I have some issues. My set up is: Maxx Perf purple primary spring, 14.5 rollers, 52.2g weights with empty heel, 4.4g mid, 6.0g tip for a total of 62.6g. Secondary is a 51/43 with a green Yami spring at 70 deg. I am also geared lower than stock, 24/37 with 8 tooth drivers (1.74) spinning a 1.25" track. The clutch engages at 4200 and its pretty snappy but it is still boggy in the mid range. If i come into a hard corner and then climb a hill it will rev up to about 5500 doing about 20 mph, if I mash the throttle quickly it drops to around 3800 and it bogs then slowly climbs back. The second issue I am having is it still over revs on top end. I was able to pin it down a long railroad bed and it shot to 9200 and settled to 9100. The weights came with the sled when I bought it and it doesn't have any of the 1/2" 5.8g bolts so right now I am out of weight to add. Should I order more bolts and the tungsten washer kit or give up on the 51/43 and start over with a straight 47? I have read that some members here prefer a straight helix with the HH. Sorry for the long post, it's a lot of info. Any help is appreciated!
