My old thread about a srx ended up getting sold. Found another for cheap but says trailing arm is bent. Anything else I should snoop over? What do you think would cause that?

Hit something to hard with the ski, weak link is the trailing arm. can find them used 50-100 bucks
Check the trailing arm mount. Had a Viper that we thought was just an arm. Turns out hut hard enough to bend the tunnel mount. If you buy measure everything. I know it sucks, hard to believe a steel railroad iron catching on the carbide would do that much damage.

Mainly all the stuff you would look over on a sled that didnt have a bent trailing arm really. I picked up a 99 srx 700 that hit a stump HARD! Broke outter/bent inner bumper, stuffed the belly pan up against the pipes, hood flipped of and snapped hinges.....trailing arm mount was fine. Look at the aluminum skid plate under the motor/skid/W arm and in front on engine as far as belly pan/inner bumper bracing. If it has an overall "rough life" appearance then it prolly has had a rough life!
