Will a 99 SRX trailing arm fit on a 99 sx? Are they the same part number? Does anyone have a left side trailing arm in good condition they would sell and ship to Niagara Canada? It had already been replaced about 5 years ago with a after market arm and it folded like a cheap suit this year.

Thanks SS77

That sucks! LOL... It seems to be easier to find parts for the srx than the sx... I guess the hunt is on as I refuse to buy another after market and dont want to put out the money for a overpriced new one from the dealer

thanks again

I might be wrong but the SX and SRX both have the short travel front suspension and technically should be the same trailing arm.The SX-R and V Max with the longer travel front have different trailing arms.I've got the tuning manual in my shed and will check tomorrow to make sure,it has the part numbers listed in it.

I dont remember which letter is which BUT if you look at the front end of trailing arm in the gusset/bracket for radious rods theres a letter stamped in it. Seems like R and V but I could be wrong on those letters. As long as the letter is the same its the same trailing arm. The only differance is a couple degree angle differance in the spindle tube.

SX and SRX do indeed have the same trailing arm, they should both have the V id mark stamped into the front of the radius rod bracket. The full specs are :
ID mark V
Caster angle 23.5*
Radius rod bracket angle 3*
Shock absorber bracket angle 10*

You can use a trailing arm from an SX-R or V Max deluxe or even a Viper as long as you use the radius rods to go along with it.

well not all, the viper uses a differnt length spindle then does the sxr and vmax, so its not all bolt on and go but I understand what your trying to tell him.

I WANTED THE SILVER TRAILING ARMS FOR MY 2000 SRX FOR A CHANGE OF PACE. THEY WERE OFF A 2001 SXR 700. BOLTED RIGHT ON. 3:16 (yammie tony)
