I'm not bashing Yamaha (and certainly not their reliability), just stating that they have made some pretty poor engineering choices with simple, aggravating little things on their sleds that you would never find on other products from that company. I wonder if it's because there's more input on the sleds design from outside of Japan than on their other stuff.

And I've never owned a Cat but have been pretty happy with the Doos and Poos I've had over the years.
 
Polaris and Ski Doo are trash. ive not seen a Rev chassis 800 make it past 4000km with out blowing up, not too mention every Ski Doo is held together by a bunch of little ****ing plastic snaps. how about all of polaris's problems... 09-10 dragon 800, 13 Pro RMK? need i say anymore? I have had my vmax completely full of fuel, put it in a truck box and closed the tail gate and never had a single issue.
