Crack the throttle has been on all the yamaha sleds ive seen. One pull usually with a cracked throttle.....

There have been reports that new needles and seats will fix this in the T.Y. archives.

Agreed. Every single triple I have ever ran requires you to crack the throttle when warm.

Mine must be a lemon. Starts 1/2 pull hot no throttle or choke.

I personally think they do this because they are jetted fat from the factory. If you were to dial in the jetting a bit more, I think it may cure this.

Well, its the ond of the year now and I want to pull it apart to try and fix this. Could the floats be out of adjustment?
Mine usually only gives me lip when it's about halfway between warm and bone cold as if I go riding then try to fire it up an hour or two later before it's completely cold. Warm one or two pulls. Cold usually about 3-5 tops. Mid temp could be 20 or more if I don't crack the throttle.
