My daughter now needs to where glasses all the time. SOooo She's had trouble with them fogging up with a full face helmet, even with a breathbox. She wants a cool MX style with goggles like her dad, will that work? I assume it would. What do you guys with glasses where for a helmet?
I personally don't have any expierience with this but... My wife works at a large eye doctor office, and they offer RX Goggles for snowboarding and skiing. Since they are designed for skiing and boarding I don't know if they will fog or freeze up any worse than the dual lense used for sledding. Something to look into, I do know they are not cheap.

If you can get her a pair of glasses that have small frames. I wear glasses under my goggles (scott 89xi) with a moto helmet. I still get a little fogging if I stop, but once im moving again it clears up in 10 seconds. Make sure ifyou do go this route to get snow purposed goggles. Summer goggles will have her face frozen in no time. You can easily tell by the foam padding on the goggles a snow goggle will have way more than any summer goggle.

I wear a full face and glasses, and what I have found that works best is a NO-FOG mask. There are copies, but I think the original is best. In certain conditions where there is any fogging, crack the face shield open slightly.

Scott makes OTG (over the glasses) Goggles. Never tried them as I don't need glasses. Yet!

my bud was wearing thor enemy glasses one day and the fogging was terrible and his glasses iced over so I had to lend him my 509 stealth aviators and he had no problems for the rest of the day. And 509 also offers a fog sensing fan the completely eliminates fogging.

I have an almost new one of those no-fog masks she can try if she wants. Even says Yamaha on it. I bought it years ago when we in Cooke, wore it some that trip and its been in a drawer ever since. Could ship it down to you and she can give it try. If it works for her, cool and we can figure something out. If she doesn't like it just send it back home. Let me know.

i wear glasses and i use a full face helmet. with a breath mask, i always fog up. without, i am fine as long as i am moving. i have to open my sheild every extended stop or i fog up. heck i fogged up in my modular hjc with the front opened powder riding this weekend.
a good cleaning with an antifog lens cleaner helps a lot too.

Andy, the only thinn that has worked sure fire for me over the years is a modular helmet with the breath box. The BV2s is by far the best but they are expensive. I bought a Polaris moduar a couple of years ago and it worked well. I'm sure there are other brands out there as well. I don't use it anymore as I ride with contacts. If you want she can use it next time you come up and see how it works for her.

I have had this problem for years. I wear glasses and started using an open face helmet which sucked. I eventually got a Modular Ski-Doo helmet. I have not been able to see better. My glasses only fog if I forget to open the shield when helping someone get unstuck. I know some people dont like the constriction of the breath mask but it works. The only time I had a problem is with the snap for the breath mask, which I now carry two spares and the breathing tubes clogged on me one time, it was -15 and all I had to do is let them defrost at the watering hole. Love the helmet. Give one a try.

I don't wear glasses, but I have had fogging issues like no other for the past 5 years. I wore a MX helmet with breath box and goggles and a thin balaclava. Just a few weeks ago I decided to try one of the knock off fog evader masks and a new set of goggles. 2 rides with lots of activity (heavy sweating) and not one spot of fog. Mask is SPI/Nachman or something like that, picked it up for $19 off of Amazon and my new goggles are Smith Snow Fuel v.2 Sweat-X goggles. I won't be returning to the breath box anytime soon. This combo flat out works.

I just got mine in the summer and it's great, a little more money than glasses but well worth it.

I have to wear glasses when I ride. I have used for several years a set of Pro Vue prescription insert goggles and use a no fog mask. Works the best that I've found. Here's the link: http://www.pro-vue.com/snow.html . I also have their snap colored lense system. They really work, I highly recommend them. Soc
