Bought a used 88 exciter with a 92 skid. Turns out the rear skid is not in very good shape. I don't think the rear shocks actually move and the shock bushings are completely worn out. I really would like to get this thing working by the weekend(the only reason I bought it) and am having a hard time finding good used parts. Could I just put the whole rear skid out of a 84 Phazer that I have in to get me through the weekend? I just want to get the thing to work this weekend and then spend the spring and summer building this thing up.

Two different length suspensions and lighter springs in the Phazer skid. I don't believe a bolt in swap can happen, especially without a longer track. Exciter is 121" and early Phazer is 116". Someone else may know better than I but I'm pretty certain that's the skinny.
