I got a setop off this great site and i am now trying to figure out gearing to go with the setup. Anyone willing to spread some knoledge?

I have 8dn 20 weights 4.5 g rivits in both holes www primary spring in my secondary i have a nytro helix with a green spring at a 70 wrap. I have a 1 inch track 144 studs bender transfer rods my gearing now is 21 40 i drag race 500 ft and im not sure what gears i should be using im not looking to win trophys just havin fun racing buddys.

guess we need to know what your rpm is at wot.Gearing down should increase your rpm,motor works less hard.What is that helix??

you need to gear it up just a tad for snow, and get the 54/46 dalton helix in it, will be way quicker. Look at your first post in the other post on srx clutch set up, I gave you some gear ratios to use.
thank you for your response mr viper so when u say gear up should i go bigger on top such as 22 40 or 23 40 ? and yes i will get that helix for sure.
