Just took my chain case apart to change gears and found the last owner forced the wrong thread bolt into the gear on the bottom 39t. I just got back from hardware with a 10mm 1.50. its wrong. any idea what size it could be 10mm 1.00 threads. thanks

Ouch, tough spot.
Not sure of your bolt specs, but you may have the right one and just need to run a tap into the old thread to clean it up. Forcing the wrong bolt in will alter the threads.
Make sure to find the proper tap.
Downside is removing to much material and the the new/proper bolt strips it out.
You could also use the same wrong bolt with some loctite.
The problem is, having a feel for the tap cutting cleanly so you know your not taking to much material. Same thing applies to using the old/wrong bolt. There's a chance you could over torque it and strip it out too. Now you have a mess on your hands and I'm not sure about a helicoil fix. Maybe someone else has tried it.
Myself, I'd just look for a used drive shaft and call it a day.
