That's a 96 not a 95.

I know.
I've never seen an 96 for sale before. Figured that someone might be interested. Cool that it has the Expert.
Still think these are the sweetest sounding things on the snow, but who can afford to feed it?

ha ha ha, we have 5 of them here. Know what you mean, know what you mean. My SRX is a rolling Jerry can by comparison.

I hear that, I had an SRX for a season. I was amazed at the mileage, I was getting 100 miles or more to the tank. Vmax-4...not so much, gimme an hour or two on the river and I'm heading back to get gas.
What if this thing is actually a 97? Aren't the graphics the same 96 & 97? It has a hyd brake and it looks like it has the twisty struts? Don't think the brake looks right, but I could be wrong.
Could it be one of the magical 50?

It is a 96. Graphics are different on a 97. Rustman you mileage would be better if you were not always WOT!

not a '97, wrong graphics, wrong hood. Red lettering on the seat was also '96 only. Not sure what twisty struts were or are, but I can guarantee this is not a '97 unless the hood and seat have been changed. It's also missing the aluminum skiis, big negative IMO. Also the Expert skid, while it may handle nice, detracts from the intended purpose if you ask me. I bought a '96 in similar condition but with the stock skid and skiis for half that price. Still, a nice sled that looks to be in decent condition.
This is my '97, you can see a hood scoop for cooling the hydraulic brake, different graphics, someone added some extras to this one, they are coming off after this season. White lettering on the seat, pro-action rear skid.

By twisty struts, I meant like the Exciter SX, and the 96 XT with the adjustable struts. I noticed that the black rubber cap on top of the struts looked like those. I thought 96 and/or 97 had those struts too?
I agree. WAY too much, but it is a nice looking machine. ;-)

All years of the vmax-4 had the adjustable TSS, 92's were a little harder to get at, had to take ski off to adjust. '93-'97 had the top adjustable ones you are thinking about.

Well, I'll be damned.....You learn something new every day. Thought that was only 96 & 97. Thanks for the info.
