1988 Phazer with no spark. Has a new coil, a replacement stator, and I can't get this thing to light! I have all but the yellow/black and the white wires connected.
A friend that was helping a couple weeks back swears he saw spark when I wheeled it over to check the wiring. Since that day, I've had no spark. So I changed out the coil, and stator. I tested the original one and the source coil was bad. I've tested my CDI and all is cool there.
I rebuilt this engine. New bearings, seals, blah blah... When I re-assembled it, I put the stator back in the exact same spot as when I removed it. Did I miss something here?
I'm pulling my hair out here! I don't have much more to spare! Please help

"I rebuilt this engine." Did you clean or mess with the carbs ? T.O.R.S. ?

Yup! I cleaned the carbs rather well. The issue isnt fuel, theres defintiely fuel there, just no spark. I'm gonna head over there soon and try temporarily bypassing the TORS and see if thats my issue. I can just connect the black and black/yellow wires cant I?
