Secondary free play

Is there supposed to be free play on the secondary of a 90 Phazer II? If so what should it be? I've been trying to get this sled running right for a while now, and I'm going to double check the Center to Center and Offset, but can't find anything in the manual about free play.

I like them to have 3/16-1/4" of free play. That is just my preference. I don't have the manual in front of me to see what it is supposed to be.
