Does anyone know how to test a cdi box. I think mine is bad but would like to test it before i buy a used one. Sled run great until it warms up the it drops a cylinder then shortly after that i loose all my spark. Has anyone seen this problem before? Any ideas would be great.

seems like a coil issue too me

maybe i will give that a try seeing how a coil is easy to come by compared to a cdi

reason i say that is these cdis work or they don't so coil or stator but more than likely coil

NOT CDI. PROBLEM IS A WEAK STATOR. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I have a used cdi and coil on its way i will start with the coil then try the cdi. i didn't have to pay much for them if nothing else i will have a spare of each. if that doesnt work i will look at the stator.
