Anyone know if South Seguin is doing the radar runs on Horseshoe lake this year? I though I read somewhere it was scheduled for Feb 16, 2013 but I cant seem to confirm it.

I read it on Ontario conditions. Not much info posted, just location and date.
I'm going to see if I can get more info.
Have you been to it before?

EDIT I just posted a reply to the post asking for more info.

We may go to it, but depends on how the trails are in the area. Limited trails with a no-action suck, so we may go ride further North.

I was on a few of the trails last weekend and they were money! Nicely groomed and barely any tracks, and they are all mostly green or available at the moment.
Looks like great weather as well.

If we do come I'll be sure to look for you. Whats all done to your srx? We may have to line them up. ;)!

Ha, I put in a new helix, maybe 54 42 a few years ago. I have never raced it against another fast sled yet so ill be interested to see how it does. Here is a speed run I did a few weeks ago, no idea the length but there was snow on the lake.

Hope to see you there.

Yeah we've never run the srx on the gun before. The srx has roller rooster secondary, a new track and studs. My brother has only raced an F7(see video in sig) and my Viper. I've ran 99mph in the 1/4 when stock, I now have clutching and more studs. I'm hoping to break into triple digits.

Nice speed. How did you have your skid set up? Any other tips to share?

I'm not going to be disappointed; I don't expect to win anything, just heading out for some good times. This SRX is my daily rider, not a racer. Well unless its against my buddies, then its a racer!

got a big washer on bottom of transfer rod and thin on top limiters are sucked right down front shock on rear skid is soften up to suck the limiters more

if you guys show up with your srx's come say hey to me ill have the 2 f7's .ill show you guys a couple things you can do to improve mph
just like i did for t-rav with my old srx .he went fom 103 to 110 just with a few slight changes and basic adjustment's .all the little things add up

Those of you that have done this before I have a few questions.

Registration is from 9-10am. If you miss this are you out of luck for the day?
Is there a cost associated with the track? Flat rate? per run?
Do you need proof of ownership and insurance for registration? anything else?

Thanks.

The cost is $20.00 for 3 runs as per Wildbill on Ontarioconditions. He seems to be the guy in charge of running it.
