Installed HID's on viper, added batt, works great. But....

Hi, I need a little guidance with some of wiring on my viper. I installed an HID kit from Royal Distributing, to do so I bought a motorcycle battery (50 bucks) the smallest one they had, I put it all together and the lights work great. However I now need to hook up a trickle charge to the battery, I know on I the recoil side there are wires to do this, however there are 3 wires that go into a plug that is capped. why r there 3? how should i go about connecting them to the batt? Any help would be great.

you are looking for a red wire from the ignition switch, should be in a plug with a red/white and a black. this is switched 12v or you can hook it up to you smoothing coils.
