I really don't want to register on a Doo forum so I will ask the question here.
A business client of mine was refered to me by a buddy. He wants to know if I can fix his issue that he is having on his '06 Adrenaline(?) 600 I think. Its a 121 track. Have not seen the sled yet.
His issue that the sled fish tales when driving in a straight line. I know that is caused by too much ski pressure.
Question is do I take out the excessive ski pressure? On the ski springs or look into the skid? I have really paid no attention a Doo skid and how its set up. What adjustments can be made in there to take weight off the skis. He just purchased a 1.25 Ripsaw thinking that would solve his problem. He has a 1" track on it now.
Is it similar to my old Viper where you can let out the limiterstraps and add more preload to the front shock?

I assume the laws apply to all sleds. I just read up on a Nytro to help a buddy and the basics are the same for it as my SRX. My old Doo's and Polaris's were the same.
Or you visit as a guest and check out the faq's/tech section?

It should be the same and the centre shock is were i would start. The thing to ask yourself is has it always done this or just started.

If it has just started and nothing has been changed the spring might have undone from the locking coller or the shock itself has gone weak.

A misadjustment on the front springs to lift the sled higher would mess the hole thing up as well.

X2. I've got a doo skid in my Viper. center shock/limiter straps is where to start. the doo skids dont have a fully adjustable center shock springs. they have preset notches in the adjuster. Mine has 2 springs. I'd check to see if the limiter straps are sucked up first and check the spring preload setting.
