I've been thinking of changing the rear skid in my Viper this summer and wondered which would be a better upgrade. I had an 02 mxz with the sc 3 and I was very happy with. I haven't rode a Yamaha mono and I wondered if it was better than the sc 3 skid. Thanx for any info.
My understanding of the Mono is, that it can be a little finicky to get dialed in. But once you get there, it rides awesome. The SC10-3 would be a little easier to setup and have a wider range of abilities, but then you'd have to name the sled Yama-Doo or something crazy like that! lol Good luck, and dont forget that there will be a lot more info on the mono over on http://www.ty4stroke.com/

OK that sounds good. I probably can't go wrong with either. I'll most likely go with the one I can get the best deal on. Even if I have to rename it. LOL

i have a yamaha-laris! lol i'd use the sc 3 imo the mono is a groom trail skid, if you're looking to do ditch banging sc 3 it is

My viper is a yama-doo
3 srxs that run with me are also sc10 3. Never seen one break yet. My brother broke the front arm in his apex last year.
