Last week in the U.P. I noticed my buddys 03 standard viper sat 1-2 inches higher off the ground in the rear than my 03 ER model (with no rider on board). I have read that the ER model had a softer suspension but I dont know if this is the reason for this difference. Does adjusting the rear suspension make a difference in the ride height or just the ride quality? I appreciate all info tips and comments as this is my first good sled (bought new last year) and I have a lot to learn. My sled rides great but this seemed odd to me.Thanks , Chitownpete.
