Just curious, how many miles on your sled? I'm still running originals and waiting to replace mine but they still look and feel good. Wanting to see if new reeds help a hard starting SRX.

10 thousand kms on the old girl runs great starts good not sure if im losing power with them chipped but ill deffinatly be changing them. Some times i get a funky idle when i first fire it up those peddles may be that not to sure

Yeah if they are chipped and not sealing, your losing power and throttle response. Let us know the difference when you do it. Keep that old girl going.

I've noticed that if the pedals have significant gap between them and the cages, it can lend itself to a hard starting problem.

Yeah, that's what I was hoping to find when I looked at them. But mine were still in great shape and all sealed nicely. Maybe they lost some tension in them, who knows. Mine only starts hard after sitting overnight, 6 to 8 pulls to get it going, after that just a half pull. Used to be 3-4 when cold.

No I never checked it, just got back from a trip on some of the best trails I've ever ridin in Crivitz Wi. Sled ran awsome, took care of other sleds in the group on the lake, just 5 to 6 pulls to get her going in the morning. Temp was -5 to 0' F. Can't complain to much.
