Gas goes up again

second increase here last little while.Reg for $5.30/gallon and Premium $5.90/gallon.I know you guys in Ontario are even higher in price.It never ends.When they drop it 1 or 2 cents at a time..that takes 5 weeks ..but increase happens all at once ..what's up with that....rip off.
 

your US gallon is a little smaller then our gallon. we are 20% bigger the gallon...so factor that in and you are still ahead of us all the way..We have a lot of tax's on our fuel..on everything actually....even syn oil here is ridicules ..amsoil and Shell Ultra like $16.00 plus a liter.I now have gone back to Yamalube..

$6.36 a gallon for premium here today, or 139.9 per liter.
We use the imperial measurement for gallons here and there's 4.55 liters in a gallon.
3.79 liters in a US gallon would still be $5.30 a gallon at our prices.
All I know, is it costs me $50 to go for a 100 mile tear. :o|
 
yeah I did that after xmas,filled both sleds and had 6 -5 gallons.Just ran out now.Costs me about $70 oil/gas for about 100 mile ride..a little to much I would say. Just got my Co-op rebate check..so maybe a few more rides and that is it for me this season..spent to much already on fuel.Haven't ridden much in Feb. myself.But lots of snow around.... :o| Talk of Flooding again out West..here we go again.
 
Ours went up here today aswell. Not quite as bad but bad enough. Heard it was cause we are entering refinery shutdown season and our local refinery just had their 3rd fire in the last 16 months.
 
its bacause the refierys are shutting down, they have enough stock to last us the rest of the winter and are starting to switch over to summer/ spring fuels. (less heatting oil and no ainti freeze aditive packs) this happens every year if you fallow it closley, in late winter and late summer/ early fall
 
It all bs if you ask me. Just a bunch of money hungry sob!!! Canada and Us will soon be the largest exporters of oil in the world. So if we have all this damn oil in these two countries why are we paying so much???
 
so true,we should be getting a big discount for the gas that we produce..I would pay $1 a gallon..Doesn't Venezuela charge their people like 10 cents a gallon.
 
we have to dissolve OPEC to begin with. We in N America supply our people and the other countries can supply their people.And if they want our oil..nail them to the wall with prices.
