Am looking to put a silencer on an '02 viper. Sno-stuff boasts low Db and higher hp outputs than anyone else, also cheaper. Anybody have and pros/cons to sno-stuff or other brands.

I have the sno stuff rumble pack on my '03 SX Viper. I read alot before buying it, and everyone says that you'll probably lose a couple HP with any silencer but you'll also lose weight and you'll get a good sound. This discussion can go on for ever. But let me tell you I've put 200 miles on with the sno stuff silencer and I personally love it. It is kind of loud, and also it sticks out of the bottum of your sled a couple inches, so I cut 1 inch off it so that I would beat it up, and now it is perfect.

I know "they" say no re-jetting required. What did you do. If not how were your plugs looking?

I didn't re-jet. The plugs are looking fine, I put on the silencer with around 500 miles on the sled, thats how many it had when I bought it. Only fouled the plugs one time and that was the first ride of the year with old gas in it. Whats your email address? Before I bought mine some one on here sent me a sound clip with a rumble pack on his sled, I think I can send it to you.....

they all claim HP gains which I dont think are very accurate.
But if the HP stays about the same then it should be
Less weight + same HP= faster sled
