Need opinions on 35w bulbs...what do you guys use????

Hey guys, Just switched my 1998 Srx over to a dual headlight and just wondering what bulbs you guys are using? I am going to use the 35 watt bulbs and leave the wiring harness alone. What is working for you guys? Links? Thanks! Mike
 

I use stock bulbs ! Take out the old reference ur # replace lol go to much watts and look forward to replacing a stator or something frying
 
Did what motorhead did and put piaa 35 watter inmine. Nice bit of light. Now I have had some stator trouble but its not been on the lighting side but on the ignition side. So have no fear and get them
 
Lol ppl just never read the handbook ! It's all a trade off better lighting for a stator break down ! Was it worth it is the question ! I woulda spent the extra 3 bucks bought the stock bulb ! Here's what so one did before I got mine ! Try rigged 2 Velcro pads to the headlight corners! Got some circle lights hook it up to the heated windshield wires ! Again trade off now I can't use the heated visor ! Stay stock is the best knowledge any one could give you ! You will save ur self a lot of time money and effort !

Stock single is 60 watts, do the math. Its no big deal. It would be different if it was two regular bulbs but not dual 35's.
 
Oh My God U Guys I Have Had The 2-35ws In My 99 Srx & My Sons 98 Srx For Then 5 Yrs.my Son Bought His 98 W/ 400 Miles & Got It Home & Switched It Out Right There & Then.now W/ 1700 Miles On It W/ No!!! Problems...so Put Them In You Will Like It A Lot Mike.
 
We are talking about a dual light on a srx that had a single light was the topic not about bulbs themselves ! Actually guys, I have already swapped everything over to the dual bulb set up. I am planning on running the 2 35 watt bulbs. I was asking for what bulbs you guys are using and what you thought was best for BULBS!!!! I know that the dual 35 watt bulbs will be just fine. Just didn't know what brand,color or kind to buy! I wasn't looking for someone to tell me it was stupid to do! Thanks!!!!
 
The PIAA's that motorhead suggested are AWESOME for light output. It almost feels like you have an HID bulb installed(atleast to me)...
 
sum 1 posted on her that one of the yamaha atv has the factory 35w bulbs in it but i doint rember.i'm thinking grizzly 700.but not shure sorry.
