98 vmax 700 xtc spring tinging noise

hey guys im not sure whats going on i have a spring tinging noise comming on under a load not at idle at all i replaced the exhaust doughnut and the 2 springs in the front is ist possible to be comming from the clutches??? it really sounds like the exhaust to me though done know where its comming from

Wrap some tape on the clutch cover latch and I bet the noise will be gone.

I actually had this happen to me the other day on mine. Give the pin on the clutch cover a hard poke and it will stop.
