THATS HOW SAD THE WEATHER HAS BEEN HERE IN NY,WHEN YOU GOT MORE POST ON TY THAN MILES,VERY DEPRESSING THOUGHT. 30 MILES 1/10/06.USUALLY BY THIS DATE WOULD HAVE AT LEAST 500 :o|
 
gimme 2 more weeks(it'll take that long to go back up north) and i'll crack the 1000 marker :WayCool: . not trying to rub it in or anything because that's lame for me
 
Up until the last couple weeks it has been decent here. I've siezed about every oppertunity to ride I could and I'm off to a good start, About 600 miles so far.
I've seen the bad side as well, more times than I care to remember.
Hang in there, we can all hope for a late running season with plenty of miles clicked off.
 
hmmm, let's see... I don't know how many posts I've made this winter, but I've only got about 10 miles of riding. GRRRRRRRR !!!!! #$%&* :o|

If I waited for the snow to come to me I would almost never get to ride. So far this year I have about 17 days of riding. Miles dont mean much to me So I just go by number of days. Been riding in Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, Wyoming, and Now even Iowa lol. Soon to add colorado to the list. ===SRXSRULE===
 
I opnly have 28 miles, where i am we have only gotten like 5 inches max, then it rains, then we get it back again and rains and so on and so on.... usually they would have been at least 2 ft on the ground. this has been a terrible year. seems like every is having this problem though
 
I have 95 mile, one broken runner because of rocks, one ruined ski because I rode another 1o miles on a ski with no runner. Maybe a ride up to Canada may be the ticket. NY hasn't had much good weather for anything.

I can't even find my snowblower in the garage. Once it snows it will take longer to dig it out of the garage then to do the driveway.

the snow gods are not with us,but i here feb. amd march are suppose be better calling for a late winter... we can only hope here in ny
 
ya,same here in lower michigan. i live in lawton michigan,suposably in the snow belt not to far from lake michigan and we have maybe had 6 inches of snow at one time and it will last a day or two and rain. we have pretty decent trails around here but they are no good without snow. usually i could get a hundred miles or so on before the middle of january but i only have about 12. this really sucks. seven of us are going to trout lake on the 26 of jan and not coming back until the 29. hopeful to get some miles on then.
 
I have about 350 miles in. Not bad considering I only have about 6 days of riding in total.
I could have over 500 miles, but its been so very cold here in Wisconsin. A lot of days the temps have only got up to about 5* F. It makes it hard to ride 150 mile a day when you cant go out untill 10:00 am or noon because its so cold.
Dont worry guys, its only the middle of January. You still have 2 months of winter left!
Last weekend you probably remember me thinking about selling my sled. Well I rode an '03 RX-1 Mountain for about 50 miles yesterday and let me tell you, THERE AINT NO WAY AN ATV CAN REPLACE THAT SLED!!! Oh boy, was that sled fun to ride. Plus, going from that RX-1 from my 600 XC was a huge letdown. I was like, "Dang, this thing is sooooo gutless and uncomfortable to ride!"
