I was riding last weekend and I was having an intermitent problem reving over 6500 rpm (this was happening more often than not)
During the summer I changed both clutches, added an XT skid and a 1.25" track. That's about all but I've also neglected the carbs over the past couple seasons. So I've pulled them off, took them apart, cleaned them and I thought I'd throw in a new set of reeds there's nearly 23,000kms on the motor (complete rebuild aprox 7,000kms ago)
What I have found is that there are plastic inserts in the throat of the reed cages and both are loose. There's close to 1/8" of play, is this normal?
I'm also putting my primary clutch back on
Thanks
Jim
