Cant wait to put this helix in to complete my 8dn 20 setup! Hopully it will eat some f 7 s for lunch! Thnx mr viper for the help on this setup! :sled2:

That's the setup I'm running in my 01 and before I got all the components I just had a Hauck helix from a kit I bought for my 98 along with a b-w-b primary spring.Once I got the w-w-w spring and 54/46 helix installed I couldn't wait to try it out.All I can say is hang on,my sled pulls like crazy now.

Actually I have 5g's in both holes but to be honest I really have only been out with this setup once and really don't know what the top end revs are like yet. With my work and the miserable snow conditions where I live riding time has been very limited.Plus I've been working on my 98 project and trying to get that sorted out so I'm actually splitting what riding I can get between both sleds.I'm hoping to get a ride in this weekend and get an idea of what the revs are on my 01 setup.

Yes theres always something on the go well let me no how she works aswell ill let u no how mine rips

I was out for a run yesterday and had a chance to stretch the legs on my SRX and got a number for my top end,lo and behold I was only hitting about 8100.I pulled the primary off today and went at the weights to lighten up the bolts I'm using instead of rivets. When I weighed the bolts I found that I was actually using 5.5 grams,I don't know if my scales were off before or if I just wasn't paying attention when I weighed the bolts out but I am now at 4.5 gr.It might be a couple of days or so before I can verify where I'm at now but I gotta believe I'll be pretty close to the 8400 area.

ya with 3 grams off the tip you should be in the golden- mid 8400............... :sled2:

1 thing... if its warmer out when your testing vs colder(before) you might over rev next time by removing too much weight. If you tested before at 18-20 degrees and today was 32 out(warmer)the results will vary for sure. I am sure your aware of that, just a reminder.... :winterrul

Thanks for the tips mr viper, ill be testing this week theres a snow drag this weekend in my home town i geared up from 2140 to 22 40 might need to go up one more tooth its supposed to be mild so i may spin to much out of the hole with 22 40 any suggestions?
