Just welded it up and did it with a hobart welder on #1 setteng and worked Perfectly! Waiting for the jb weld to dry. Plan on riding this weekend

got to love them mig welders.I have had mine for years and always find things to weld.I am not to pretty with the weld,grinding it up and paint after..can't complain.Welding thinner gauge material gets a little tricky not to burn thru.Mostly small tacks and stop to avoid over heating and blowing a hole through.I sur hate it when that happens,seems likr it takes forever to try and fill that hole without making it bigger.lolll.I don't use gas either.
