So here I am thinking I had an 01 SRX.
Then I read something here that made me question it.
So only the 02 has separate grip and thumb warmers and dual head lamps????
Is that the case? Because that is what mine has -so is it an 02?

no, the 2001 srx and the 2002 srx have the dual rheostat for the grips and thumb warmer.
if theres no little orange colored lens on left side of guage pod that says dcs on it, along with a big fat senser screwd into the water rail its a 01 srx you have.

Whats your manufacture date on tunnel? manufacture date of 00=01,01=02. Dont think you will find a SRX with manufacture date of 02 as that would be an 03.
