Getting time to freshen up the clutches(6000 miles) but reading thru the tech section i cant find anything with these spring colors. Hoping some of you gurus know something about this setup. I have a bender secondary helix( is the angle stamped somewhere on it) with a black (solid) spring. Primary has a yellow with blue stripe and what appears to be stock weights. Is there a way of breaking the weights apart to measure rivet weight? really like the set up, but losing mid to top accel. and getting some noises out of the primary. I'm hitting the 8500 rpm mark but not much pull after 80mph.

.)on the inside of the helix, youll find a engraved code, see what it is and post it, possibly someone has already checked that one and can tell you the angle of it.

.)the sec springs are all black from yamaha, but on it will be a colored dot, either red, or a green one, or silver.

.)the primary spring is a bender one, i dont know the spring specs off the top of my head.

.)as for the primary weights, they have a letter and number id on the sides of them if yamaha, the rivets are color coded so it you take one out we can tell you what you have or weigh it on the gram scale and see what your total weight amount is.
