they look just like a buddies hauck pipes.
yamaha_d said:hi i got these pipes online thinking they were for my srx and older hauck pipes and when i got them i found they had sx 700 red head flanges drilled to fit the srx please help if you know what make they are
those are hauck hi rpm srx pipes you have shown in the actual pic......in post #1

no, those are bender srx pipes in this pic shown in post#2.
also going to be tough to put sx exh flanges on a srx, the sx uses 2 bolt diagnol pattern flange and the srx uses a 4 bolt square flange and youd only be able to catch 2 of the srx bolts. The exh.opening is not the same angle or length, or really anything for that matter.
2 differnt motors completely, red head engine is 70.5mm bore with 59.6mm stroke,
srx is a 69mmx64mm stroke engine,
the pipes dont and wont interchange.......unsure what youve got but youll need to post pics of the actual parts you have to id them.
sx pipes of hauck in the same time era dont look like either of the pics in this thread at all.

Ok but that's what I'm asking because they have the 2 bolt flanges drilled to bolt up to thge srx cylinder so are they originally for a sx700 red head?

is the picture you posted the actual set of pipes you have in your hands?
If the answer is 'no" not actual pic from the pipes you have, youll need to post a actual pic to id them.
if it is, "yes" thats the actual pic of the pipes you have, they are srx hi rpm pipes from hauck... and you have the wrong exh flanges for them then.
ok i thought they were srx pipes they fit nice in the chassis and the pic in post #2 is the pipes that hauck shows now on his website he must be selling bender pipes as his own. I emailed hauck and he told me that his high rpm lake pipes were side exit pipes, i ws kind of hoping i had sx pipes then they were going to go on my sxr but they will go on my srx now. any other info will be greatly appreciated thanks for the help
hauck doesnt and has not ever made his own pipes, like those srx pipes you first posted, they were made for him by Jeff Simon from CPR, they were merely 600 ski doo pipes fit to a srx chassis.
Over the years he(hauck) has had differnt companys build pipes for him and they put on a hauck name tage.
Like curretly now his same sxr hauck husher pipes are made by Aaen.
here is a pic of sx,sxr pipes made for hauck by CPR, they were really good pipes.

dynoport is the company who makes the bender pipes, and I went and looked at haucks site, looks like he is making the srx pipes for hauck now as well. Rich Daly, he is the owner of dyno port and bender racing as well, he got the company(bender) a few years back.
Hope its not too confusing but the basic point is hauck has other people build the pipes for him, they just add a name tag to them for him and he makes more money off the item.
theres been differnt makers over the years and most of the time you can see who the original maker of the pipe was was just by the design of the pipes.
jaws jr, you were right, i had not seen dynoport was making the pipes for hauck, sorry.
