So Ive tried ALL the local suppliers in my area and no one can seem to find or even order a 19 tooth 15W sprocket for my msrx. I am wondering if anyone knows a supplier or anywhere where I can get one shipped up my way. If someone has one laying around by chance id be very interested!

Thank you

I've heard an 18 has a hard time working? I'm not sure I really don't know what's your opinion on using an 18 will I have any issues and can I still use a 70l chain I'm also at 21 right now I guess if you don't mind let me know what you think of using an 18

If you have a 42 bottom and go to a 18 t top you will need a 68L chain. If you go to 19 you can still use 70L.Or you can upgrade to hyvo gears, chain and have a whole bunch of gearing options.2000 and newer srx gears, chain will work if you can find a set used.

I would rather not go that route if possible I would like to keep cost down they definitely make a 19 tooth though? Or is it a shot in the dark on finding one

The 18 was on a sled i parted out. worked fine on there i guess. dont remember the bottom gear, but i know it had a 66 pin chain, as i have that yet also.
What gear ratio ar you looking to achieve. I have a bunch of gears and chains. Could possible set u up with a close setup.
21/42 is 2.0:1 ratio.
20/42 is 2.1:1 ratio.
19/42 is 2.2:1 ratio.
18/42 is 2.3:1 ratio.
All of which are pretty low.

Best i got is a 18/40 gears (2.2:1 ratio) with a 68 pin chain. PM me if youre interested in all of it.
Or, maybe somebody has a 19 tooth that will work with your chain. ??

Just noticed your dropped and rolled chaincase. Does this make the chain longer, or does the entire chaincase get lowered. ??

not real keen on shipping across the border, but i do have a 19t 15w off my 98 srx. you sure your 42t is 15 wide? check the chain and see how it sits on the gear. you can run 13w gears on a 15w chain, but i have never tried the 15w gears with 13w chains as is doesnt work.

if the bottom gear appears to have an extra link of chain protruding off each side, it may be a 13. 13w gears are about 16.40mm thick, 15w are a tad more than 19mm thick. 19t 13w are more readily available gears.

I'm almost positive it is 15w have you had a peek at the photos in my album from our previous post? If you are willin I will buy the one you have off you no worries I shipping or extra payments I will see it through

as discussed, hard to tell detail with those pics, i originally thought them to be 13w gears from the pictures.

send me a pm with your mailing info and i will see what shipping would be and we can go form there. in the mean time, measure your existing gear width and confirm what you have.
