I have been fighting a tps code and a top end studder and sometimes a dead miss with my 2000 srx 700.
I replaced the tps and verified it using the method in the facts section.
Some times the code wont show up for a half hr of riding then ill come on at a stop sign and it will start to flash the tps code.
Sometimes it will flash at idle and not at speed or sometimes it will happen at speed and not at idle.
I removed the harness from under the motor fixed the bad wires and relocated the harness to the top side of the motor, that fixed my dim headlight and tach issue, it didnt fix the tps or high speed studder issue.
Any body got any hints?
